1. Who We Are
WhoWins is provided by Alkan Gözar. The app is designed to track selected keywords in real time and present game-style scores, reports, badges, and account-based features for users who choose to sign in.
2. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
If you create an account or sign in with Google or Apple, we may receive and store information such as your name, email address, account identifier, role, and avatar selection.
App state and gameplay data
We may store scores, selected keywords, badge progress, language preferences, subscription status, notification history, and similar app state needed to operate the WhoWins experience.
Speech and microphone usage
WhoWins uses microphone access and speech recognition during active sessions to detect selected keywords in real time.
Ads, consent, and purchase data
Free users may see ads delivered through Google AdMob. We also use Apple's StoreKit for subscriptions and Google's User Messaging Platform to manage ad consent choices where required.
3. What We Do Not Store as Audio
WhoWins is built to count configured keywords, not to create a replayable archive of what people say.
- We do not store raw microphone recordings as permanent audio files.
- We do not keep full conversation archives for playback.
- We do not build a historical voice library for later listening.
The app may keep only the limited results needed for functionality, such as counts, scores, dates, preferences, and similar state information.
4. How We Use Information
- To provide, secure, maintain, and improve the app.
- To authenticate users and restore sessions.
- To sync eligible profile and app data across devices.
- To manage free and paid features, including subscriptions.
- To display ads to free users and respect consent preferences.
- To detect abuse, protect our services, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Services and Partners We Use
WhoWins may rely on the following service categories:
- Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple for account authentication.
- Firebase Authentication and Firestore for login support and cloud data storage.
- Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform for ads and consent management.
- Apple StoreKit for in-app subscriptions and purchase status.
- Apple speech and microphone frameworks to support live keyword recognition.
These providers may process technical information such as device identifiers, app events, consent signals, or account metadata in accordance with their own policies and applicable law.
6. Ads and Tracking
If you use the free version of WhoWins, ads may be shown through Google AdMob. Depending on your region and your choices, Google and its partners may process technical data such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, and ad interaction data to deliver and measure ads.
Where required by law, WhoWins asks for consent before requesting certain types of ad personalization or tracking. You can also revisit available privacy choices from within the app.
7. Purchases and Payments
Paid subscriptions are handled through Apple. We do not receive your full payment card number. We may receive limited purchase-related information such as product, transaction status, and subscription entitlement needed to unlock features.
8. Data Sharing
We may share information only with service providers and partners that support the operation of WhoWins, including authentication, cloud storage, speech processing, ads, consent management, and subscriptions.
- We do not sell personal information for money.
- We do not share a permanent audio archive because WhoWins does not keep one.
- We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Alkan Gözar, or others.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal and app-related data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain accounts, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Audio is not retained as a permanent archive by the app. Local app data may remain on your device until you remove the app or clear data through available device or app controls.
10. Your Choices
- You can manage microphone and speech permissions in your device settings.
- You can manage advertising consent choices in the app where available.
- You can stop using the app and delete it from your device at any time.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account data, subject to legal and operational limits.
11. Children's Privacy
WhoWins is designed for general audiences and household use, but it is not intended for children to independently create accounts or submit personal information without involvement from a parent or guardian. If you believe personal data from a child has been provided to us inappropriately, please contact us.
12. International Processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. By using WhoWins, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your own.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of WhoWins after an update means the updated policy will apply.
